The KEA is comprised of over 800 teachers, school counselors, librarians, social workers, psychologists, and other school professionals in the Kalamazoo Public School District.
We give our members a strong voice to advocate for our students’ right to a quality public education, and input into administrative decisions that directly affect our students and our profession.
KEA has opportunities for you to become involved in everything from community organizing, social event planning, and committee service, to grievance processing, building representation, and political action.
Become part of the Michigan Education Association and our movement to improve public education and advocating for better salaries, resources and respect for school employees.
